Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the TheIn mobile application operated by TheIn ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 17 years old to use TheIn. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You must create an account to use TheIn. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@thein.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
TheIn uses AI to analyze photos and generate conversation starters for use in real-world social situations (dating, networking, travel, and more). The App offers a free tier with limited daily analyses and a paid Pro subscription with expanded access.
You agree not to use TheIn to:

Conversation starters and insights generated by TheIn are produced by AI and are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. We make no guarantees about their accuracy, appropriateness, or effectiveness in any particular social situation. Use your own judgment when applying AI-generated suggestions in real interactions.
Free tier. Free accounts are limited to 3 AI analyses per day.
TheIn Pro. Pro subscriptions unlock unlimited analyses and Deep Read mode. Subscriptions are billed monthly ($9.99/mo) or annually ($79.99/yr) through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Renewals. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your device's App Store account settings.
Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies. We do not process refunds directly.
TheIn and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our written permission.
You retain ownership of any photos you submit. By submitting a photo, you grant us a limited, transient license to process it solely for the purpose of generating your requested analysis. This license ends immediately after processing is complete and the photo is discarded.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TheIn and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California.
We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above or through in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
